Biography:
Lena Oxton, callsign Tracer, is a fictional character from the video game Overwatch, developed by Blizzard Entertainment. A former test pilot in the Overwatch organization, she was the youngest person ever inducted into their experimental flight program.
During a test flight of the Slipstream prototype, the aircraft malfunctioned, and Lena was believed lost. She reappeared months later, suffering from "chronal disassociation," a condition where she was unstuck in time, disappearing for hours or days. Winston, a scientist and fellow Overwatch member, developed a chronal accelerator device that anchored her to the present, granting her control over her own time.
This device allows Tracer to manipulate time, giving her abilities such as Blink (short-range teleportation) and Recall (rewinding her position in time). Her first appearance was in the Overwatch announcement trailer in November 2014.
